Cobram Primary SchoolCobram Primary School, with 230 students, is situated in the centre of the township and enjoys a large grassed area for children to play. The school has a new BER building that houses 6 new classrooms and 2 community areas. The
entire junior wing has undergone a significant upgrade and now presents "state of the art" learning environments for children. All classrooms have comprehensive ICT facilities and together with excellent teaching and learning, our student outcome results are consistently improving. The township of Cobram is located on the Murray River, in the states north east, 40 minutes north of Shepparton. Cobram Primary School shares a boundary with Cobram and District Special School. The two schools often share facilities and any visiting programs. They enjoy a positive relationship and are developing buddy programs between the students. Enrolments have steadily declined and now have stabilised at around 230. Cobram Primary has an SFO of 0.78. Attendance issues are followed through by our School Engagement and Wellbeing Officer, with the support of Principal class. Cobram Primary supports social and emotional wellbeing through our Emotional Intelligence Program (EQ) and Positive Behaviours System. Cobram Primary School has 22 staff: Two Principal class officers, 13 teachers, 1 Multi Cultural Education Assistant. 1 PWO, 1 National Partnerships coach and 5 ESS staff. |
